We’re excited to present a superb Gesha from the Huila region of Colombia! Producer Jhon Samboni started on his farm Santa Barbara in 2018 & has strived to focus on high quality production. Besides Geshas, he also grows Red Bourbons, Catuais & Castillo. 

This is an early production of this Gesha variety. The plants are, while less susceptible to diseases etc, incredibly difficult to grow much less thrive. However, Santa Barbara sits at an impressive 2050MASL, which allows the Gesha variety to thrive when given the right care & management. 

This coffee was fermented as whole cherry in tanks, before being pulped & rinsed to remove the remaining mucilage. The coffees are then dried on patios which are shaded, allowing for a slower drying period.
