We're excited to explore a new origin to us for our “EXPERIMENTAL” coffee this month! Bolivia has always been regarded as an origin that produces incredibly high quality coffee but with incredibly low yields. This coffee is produced by the Los Rodriguez family at their farm Las Alasitas, situated at 1600MASL in the Caranavi region of Bolivia.
This full Caturra lot was pulped & fermented with Mossto from the Java variety. Los Rodriguez have been experimenting with different Mossto fermentations to highlight new characteristics of their staple cultivars. After the 24hrs fermentation, the coffees are rinsed & dried in mechanical driers as washed coffees.
Bolivian coffees are known for their distinct flavour & aromatic clarity. This coffee reminds us of crisp, juicy green apples supported by the sweetness of demarara sugar! We hope you’ll enjoy this coffee as much as we do!
