We’re humbled to bring you an exceptional coffee from Jardines del Eden, in Quindío, Colombia. Producer Felipe Arcila and his family have dedicated their efforts to creating the ideal environment at Jardines del Eden to cultivate rare and exotic varieties.

Sudan Rume is a cultivar of African descent, yet it has been found to have no Ethiopian lineage. This particular lot ripened to a deep yellow, as opposed to the traditional red. The cherries underwent dry aerobic fermentation before being transferred to GrainPro bags for further fermentation at a lower temperature for 50 hours.

This rare cultivar and meticulous processing result in a truly complex coffee, with layers of tropical fruit, citrus, and fresh botanicals like juniper berries. We hope you’ll enjoy this coffee as much as we do!
