Another “CLASSIC” coffee from The Caballeros! El Pantanal is a farm Marysabel & Moises have under their collection. Year after year we’ve gone back to them for coffees that we believe truly represent the conventional characters of Marcala, Honduras. 

This coffee is slightly different from the lot we typically purchase from El Puente. The cherries are pulped before being dry fermented for 12 hours. This is the traditional processing technique most Central American producers adopt for the fully washed process. The coffees are then rinsed to remove any remaining mucilage before being transferred to raised beds to dry. 

This is the 3rd year we have bought coffees from El Pantanal. We keep coming back to it for its round acidity, cooked fruit-like sweetness & smooth mouthfeel. We hope you will enjoy El Pantanal as much as we do!
