Our final coffee from Ethiopia’s 2023 harvest is from famed washing station Aricha, situated 1900MASL in Yirgacheffe. Over the years, coffees from this washing station has gotten a lot of notoriety for its floral & citrus-laden coffees. We’re excited to bring you a “MODERN” version of Aricha, processed via the honey technique.

Coffees are pulped via the traditional disc pulper, where the skin & fruit pulp are removed. The coffees are then quickly moved to raised beds, where the coffees are consistently turned & raked during the hot day. This is to ensure the sticky mucilage gets enough exposure to air or unwanted fermentation might happen. 

This is a gentle, delicate coffee with notes of Orange Blossom & Earl Grey Tea. Whilst the honey process does lend a sweeter impression to it, this coffee is reminiscent of the flavour profiles that Yirgacheffe have been known & loved for over the decades
