Our NEW Seasonal Espresso is from the Hambela Wamena district of Guji, Ethiopia. This coffee was contributed by up to 600 smallholder farmers to Goro Bedessa Station, owned by Wete Ambela PLC.
Wete Ambela owns a few washing stations situated around Yirgacheffe as well as Guji. The founder, Mekuria Mergia started out by collecting cherries from his neighbouring farmers & selling it to washing stations, before finally opening his own station. His focus on uplifting the quality of Ethiopian coffees speak volumes to us & we have been purchasing coffees from Wete Ambela consistently over the last few seasons.
This is a delicious Natural processed Ethiopian coffee, with distinct yet gentle notes of Mixed Berries & Earl Grey Tea. The sweetness is dense with a floral aftertaste. We also absolutely enjoy this coffee on milk, as it transforms into comforting notes of Nutella & Earl Grey Milk Tea. We hope you will enjoy this coffee as much as we do!
