Excited to present April’s Pinnacle Series! This series is focused on coffees that we believe were given extra care & attention, resulting in an experience with a more distinct & defined flavour expression. This can be a result of a particular cultivar thriving in a unique environment or a meticulous fermentation & drying process, but more often than not it is a combination of both.

Herrera Gesha represents more of the former than latter, but to simply attest it to that is an affront to Moises Herrera & the incredible work he’s put into the plants. The Gesha variety has brought fame to Moises & Marysabel some years back through the Cup of Excellence, so when we tasted this coffee there were certain expectations built up. Boy were those expectations met! This is by far the most perfumed version of their Gesha we’ve experienced with layers of soft ripe fruit centering the brew. The acidity is fresh yet controlled, reminding us of kaffir lime followed by the prominent sweetness of clean white honey. The florality lingers just with the right duration, keeping us coming back for more!

This is truly an excellent coffee to savour, suitable for any time of the day. It’s a timely reminder that every variable across the chain has to align for something to taste memorable. We hope you will enjoy Herrera Gesha as much as we do!
