For the 3rd year running, we are humbled to showcase a fantastic coffee from El Lechero! Produced by Ulises Nayra, we fell in love with this coffee for its impeccable sweetness & crisp flavours.
This is a “CLASSIC” coffee, which means the majority of coffees in Peru were produced in this manner. Cherries are typically pulped & dry fermented for 12-24 hours before being rinsed and dried in parabolic dryers. This has consistently led to a lively & clean expression from most Peruvian coffees we’ve experienced.
This coffee showcases a crisp acidity that’s balanced by an intense & clean sweetness. The mouthfeel changes from juicy to a more syrupy texture as it cools. We hope you’ll enjoy this coffee as much as we do!
