This coffee was produced by Creativa Coffee District, a specialty coffee producer whose goal is to transform the traditional wet mill & drying patio model in Panama into a state-of-the-art processing facility.

Whilst their processing facility is located in the Chiriqui region of Panama, CCD also produces coffee from their own farm, which is located in Boquete, a region synonymous with the most delicate & expressive of Gesha coffees.

Gesha trees require very specific conditions to thrive & farm’s cool and dry climate at 1800MASL is the perfect setting for it.

With strict quality control in picking, ripe cherries are delivered to the wet mill to be fermented in an aerobic environment for 24 hours before undergoing drying on patios for up to 16 days.

The green coffee is extremely uniform, making it a dream to roast. We are enamoured by its stickily sweet acidity, reminding us of blood oranges. The mid-palate is bursting with florals & sweetness of red tea, before finishing with intense rose aromatics. We hope you will enjoy this coffee as much as we do!

Brew Guide

15g of ground coffee at medium setting.
93 degrees Celsius water.

Pour ground coffee onto a pre-washed paper filter. Tap the sides of the dripper to evenly distribute the bed.

We recommend using a slow and steady stream of water when pouring!

Start the timer, pour up to 80g.
At 0:35, pour up to 150g, in a circular motion, not forgetting to wash down the high and dry grounds present at the sides of the paper filter.
At 1:05, pour up to 200g.
At 1:40, pour up to 230g.
At 2:05, pour up to 260g.

Wait for the water to drain down, remove the dripper and enjoy your coffee.
